Giving instruction is an expression that is used in order person does what we instruct or request. The tenses used in giving instruction are “simple present”.
Formula & example:
Verb 1 + object : Open the window!
Be + adjective/noun: Be careful
Don’t + verb 1 + negative thing: Don’t be noise!
Don’t+ Verb 1: Don’t touch me!
Notes:
Uses (!) to make instruction more explicit (tegas & jelas )
Else word: Please, to make the instruction more polite
